On Saturday, 21 January 2023, mother-daughter duo entered the Singapore Book of Records by piecing together a 5.8m x 4.7m rangoli piece with 26,000 icecream sticks!
In view of Pongal 2023, the cultural event was organised by Kalamanjari, a Tamil cultural organisation, the Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association (LISHA) as well as Tekka Place (Venue Sponsor), where members of the organisation performed songs related to the works of 4 renowned Tamil scholars.
